Serie: African Wedding
The first kind of project with this camera was an African wedding. This camera together with the Canon 28mm USM 1.8 lens, the Canon 58mm 1.8 lens and last but not least the Canon Speedlite 580 EX II flash unit resulted in the next serie:

Technique: High ISOs
Working with high ISO values was something I always avoided in the Digital world. Just because of those nasty red blurs. Yet, using the 5D mark II, it finally gives acceptable results even above 600 ISO.
Next few photo's were taken at a rainy afternoon between 6 and 7 pm at march 20 Downtown Zwolle, The Netherlands: City Centre.

Serie: Ijsselmeer Sail
Friday May 7, a friend and I left Amsterdam, sailing towards Enkhuizen. We ended up in Uitdam. The next day we sailed for 12 hours nonstop. The Enkhuizen - Stavoren took us 4 hours just sailing.

Technique: Colors and Light
To emphasize certain elements of a photograph you can play around with the amount of light at areas in a photo. Next to light, sometimes removing certain colors and leaving just little and few colors also can dramatize a scene

Serie: Dutch Sceneries I Updated June 12 2010
The Province of Overijsel has an area in the North where Water might be the main theme, while in the East it's more about Sceneries.
In the North in Dutch Venetie, Giethoorn: Water and in the East around Eerde: Scenery.

One of the most beautiful places not far from here is Scotland. Two weeks Scotland, From Edinburgh, Loch Lomond, Tarbet, Inveraray, Oban, Isle of Mull to Tobemory.

Technique: Vital Elements
What makes a photo a story? Many times, small objects not always obvious when snapping (an African term for making a photograph), make up the vital parts of the photo.
The first photograph in the following album barely shows a shoe at the left side. To me it made the story complete! In the second photograph it's more obvious; people like small dolls walking thwarts a plane:
